Ben joined Warren Board’s internal sales team as a fresh faced youngster in 1994 and spent his first two years looking after many of our paper merchant customers. In 1996 he was lured by the glitz and glamour of Henley-on-Thames to our (then) southern sales office, where he enjoyed five years of long lunches with the Chairman.

Looking 20 years older and having found 3 stones in weight he returned to the Leicester office in 2001 as Sales Office Manager.

Outside work, Ben spends his spare time and more money than is good for him expanding an ever-growing and eclectic music collection, where you’ll find anything from Punk, Funk, Soul, Blues and Hard Acid Rock. Never knowingly “under gigged”, he’s always willing to travel to witness the best in live music and counts Funkadelic at BB Kings in New York in 2006, Crosby Stills Nash and Young in Chicago in 2000 and The Eels at The Reading Festival in 1997, amongst his all-time favourites.

Customers have often commented that because of his deep and dulcet tones, Ben should be doing voice-over work.  His colleagues also think he should be doing voice over work because he has a face for radio.
