Debbie blames youth, naivety and her family for a career in paper and board. Involved in the print trade himself, her Dad told her it would be a good industry to work in when Debbie answered a paper maker’s job ad way back in 1993. Four years with Tullis Russell was followed by an 8 year spell on the sales desk at Michael Hayes and Co., in leafy Henley-in-Arden.

When we acquired Michael Hayes’ business in 2005, Debbie proved to be one of the hidden gems of his organisation and in no time at all she found herself at home in the madness and mayhem of the Warren Board sales office. It will come as a shock to any of you who speak to Debbie regularly but she actually hails from the West Midlands! (No hint of a ‘Brummie’ accent, is there?)

In her spare time, Debbie likes to eat out with friends and family – the Birmingham Balti being a particular favourite. At weekends, you might also find her wandering Birmingham’s canals and waterways with her boyfriend.
