Clint Reynolds - Driver

On leaving school in 1988 Clint went straight in to the family fibre-glass company in the village of Wymeswold in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire. After four years in the family firm Clint decided it was time for a change of direction-joining the Midland Fox bus company as a driver, acquiring his public service vehicle (PSV) operator's licence at the age of 19. Clint was to stay with Midland Fox (now Arriva) until he was 31 at which time he was ready for a change and swapped people for goods. He obtained his HGV Class 2 (now known as LGV Category C) licence and has been a driver of goods vehicles ever since. Clint was Warren’s first ever employed driver.

Clint describes his role. “I will always need to ensure my vehicle is legal and road-worthy and that the load is strapped down and secure before leaving Warren’s warehouse. A good working knowledge of the UK’s motorway and road networks is essential. It is my responsibility to ensure I am driving in a legal manner and to keep within Driver Tachograph regulations. I like to make sure all my deliveries arrive on time and that the customer is completely satisfied before leaving their premises.”

Clint comes from Leicester and now lives in the village of Thurmaston. He lives with his partner Carly and between them they have four children – a boy and three girls, two of which are twins. In his spare time Clint likes to take the family camping and weekends are often taken up with ferrying the children to various clubs with football featuring large over the whole weekend apparently-training and playing.
