An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Executive to join our friendly, dynamic team.

The principal functions are

  • To be responsible for all aspects of customer liaison
  • Working with colleagues and line managers throughout the business in order to maximise the profitable conversion of  all enquiries
  • Taking ownership of your own customers
  • Liaising with external sales to ensure continual improvement and development of tonnage sales and profit against the sales budget set

Principal duties          

  • To log and process all sales enquiries and orders received via e mail or telephone, responding promptly and efficiently
  • Liaising with sales, commercial, accounts and transport colleagues where relevant to obtain the very best option available
  • To respond to customers offering suitable Indent, sheet stock and reel stock items available, both verbally by telephone and via email
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain best ex-mill delivery dates on behalf of the customer
  • To have an understanding of the use of the CCR system, reading all relevant customer visit reports and assisting in the maintenance of various customer requirements
  • To receive and process sample requests

  • Walking in memory of family members - Danny Laing and friends

    Our Warehouse Operative, Danny Laing decided he wanted to be involved in a fund-raising event after experiencing first-hand losing a loved-one to Alzheimers. His Dad had the disease, as did an uncle and other family members. When a friend told Danny about the Memory Walk, a charitable event organised by the Alzheimer's Society he was keen to take part.
